The program requires Internet Explorer Version 5.01 or later. How do I check my version of Internet Explorer?
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Click Help on the main menu.
3. Click About Internet Explorer. The About Internet Explorer dialog box will display. You’ll be able to read the version number here. If you need a newer version, you can download it from the web.
4. Click Help on the main menu.
5. Click Online Support. You’ll connect to internet and the Microsoft web site.
6. Click Downloads.

The program requires 450 MB of hard disk space. How do I check my hard disk space?
To check hard disk space, double-click on My Computer on the desktop or from the Start menu.
       

If you have multiple drives, select the one on which you want to install Quilt Design Wizard™, and then choose Properties from the File menu.

Select the General tab in the Properties dialog box. Note the values listed for Free Space and Capacity. This is your hard disk space for that drive. Repeat the steps if you want to check hard disk space on a different drive.

1. Click Start.
2. Click Programs.
3. Click Accessories.
4. Point to System Tools.
5. Click Disk Cleanup. There will be a delay as your computer calculates how much disk space can be freed. The Disk Cleanup dialog will display.
6. Click to check the folder names with files you want to delete.
7. Click OK.

You need to right-click on your antivirus icon in the system tray in the lower right corner of you screen. Choose Disable. Most antivirus software programs have this option. Note: If you are not sure how to disable your anti-virus software, please refer to the documentation that came with your software.

Is QDW compatible with Windows 7 and Vista?

Yes, Quilt Design Wizard works just fine on Windows 7 and Vista.
